Dew Haiku

dew drop blue

chained to lifeless bough

buds will form where dew drops rest

pearls of life burst forth

This fits the pic quite well. That sense of a new life really comes through in just a few words. Splendid!

I don’t understand the structure behind haiku but I love this. Thank you it brought a smile after a trying day.

Aww, such kind words! English Haiku’s have a 17 syllables, divided between 3 lines of 5-7-5 beats each. Often they are usually written about nature or the seasons. I like to write them because the restrictiveness of the structure, limits my babbling. :)
