This thank you is a solid week late. And it goes out to my blogger friend Sweta. Sweta was sweet enough to nominate My Daily Minefield for the Versatile Blogger Award.
Please check out her blog
http://ardentpt.com/
. It is truly a labor of love. Her goal is to inform her readers of accurate and helpful information, concerning numerous health issues. Ardent.com is well worth adding to your list of places to visit on the internet!
The rules:
• Display the award certificate on your website
• Announce your win with a post and link to whoever presented your award
• Present 15 awards to deserving bloggers (Versatile Blogger)
• Drop them a comment to tip them off after you’ve linked them in the post
• Post 7 interesting things about yourself
Seven Things About Myself (hopefully semi-interesting)
- Some day, when I get over my fear of being pummeled by waves and wearing a wet suit in public, I would like to learn to surf.
- I drink orange juice straight out of the carton, no glass or cup for me.
- I so enjoy Amy’s Organic Black Bean Tamale Verde Meal – 4 minutes in the microwave and then pure heaven!

- I would love to have an organic alpaca farm. I fell in love with alpacas when I lived in Oregon and would love to raise them for their wool.
- I’m a proud Aggie mom! Gig ‘em Ags.
- If I could have a second home, it would be in Yachats, Oregon.
- One of my new favorite books is The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov.

Again, thank you so much Sweta, for the award.

Wow! What an interesting list of things about it, especially about taking your juice fresh from it’s original container. Thanks for nominating me. I’m humbled by you thought me worthy of it.
LOL! The only reason I get to drink out of the carton is that no one else in my family drinks orange juice. Otherwise, they might complain! You have an awesome blog. I love reading your poetry. Your use of language, as a visual tool, is outstanding. I’m still in awe of your line about a “wayside rose.”
Thank you kindly for the nod!
I enjoy your blog and am looking forward to reading The Amber Ring!
Thanks for the encouragement and the award! I am so excited you like my works.
“Wayside rose” was as result of two things: roadside and rose. Since I was trying to make the piece as poetic as possible, I decided on using ‘wayside’ adding a touching imagery to the ‘rose.’ In all, I’m happy you found the line even more interesting!
Please I want apologize for the errors on my comment above. I remember it was almost midnight and my eyes were heavy when I made that comment.
Good luck and I wish you the very best.
Thank you for thinking of me and for the award! You may be an Aggie Mom, but I’m a Razorback Mom, and proud of it! Woo Pig Sooie! ; )
Lol! I figured you were a Razorback fan, from the title of your blog. Which, I really enjoy reading!
