It’s Game Day here in Aggie Land and that means it’s time for another installment of, “I Feel the Need . . . the Need for Speed.” Also popularly known as, “What the heck was THAT thing flying over my house?”
You might have guessed by now, due to all my lame Top Gun references, that today we had jets.
x
The picture above, was one of their last passes before forming up and heading towards Kyle Field.
Love how the canopies gleam in the sun.
Another shot as they tighten up even more.
x
This picture turned up a bit of a surprise. There were 3 or 4 dragon flies buzzing around the back yard when the jets flew over. I didn’t even realize I caught this little guy in my picture till I loaded them onto the computer. Kind of cool.

Jets Schmets!!!
I don’t see what’s so special about that. Direct you lens over here towards the patio and I’ll show you some real talent.
Watch this, I can make the tip of my tail go up.
x
And then, as if by magic, I can make it go back down.
x
I can clean my paw.
x
And I can sniff my pit – smells just like a freshly cut bouquet of carnations!

Editor’s query: Am I imagining things, or in the picture of you cleaning your paw, are you “flipping me the bird?”
x
x
I’m sure I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about . . .
attempts to stare innocently off into space . . .
